A private, family-owned franchise company is searching for a Chief Financial Officer to take the lead on finance and administration across its U.S. entities. You won't be a number-cruncher in the back office. You'll be the trusted partner the owners turn to before every big decision, and the person who keeps a growing franchise organization steady, organized and ready for what comes next.

What you'll own
The numbers and the story behind them
- Run budgeting, forecasting and cash management across every U.S. entity
- Deliver clear financial statements and executive dashboards, and track the key performance indicators that matter most
- Own a fast, accurate month-end and year-end close
Compliance and control
- Keep the company audit-ready, GAAP-compliant and current on tax and regulatory requirements
- Build internal controls and risk practices that protect the business
- Work hand in hand with outside accountants and auditors
Day-to-day operations
- Oversee payables, receivables, payroll and the general ledger
- Run administration: offices, facilities, procurement and vendors
- Support HR, IT and legal so the whole organization runs smoothly
People and progress
- Lead and develop a finance and administrative team that takes pride in its work
- Spot ways to simplify processes and cut costs, and coach department managers on how finance shapes their budgets
- Partner with senior leadership and the owners on strategy, long-range planning and the financial impact of new initiatives
What we're looking for
- 8+ years in finance and administration, including 5+ years leading a team
- A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or business (MBA or CPA a plus)
- Deep command of accounting, budgeting, reporting and internal controls
- Experience running administrative operations and leading across departments
- ERP experience is required, along with strong Excel and financial systems skills
- A calm, organized leader who thrives when deadlines get tight
