Privacy Policy

StarrUp Consulting, LLC ("StarrUp," "we," "us") runs starrupconsulting.com, starrupjobs.com and the StarrUp Jobs app (together, the "Services"). This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it and the choices you have. Questions? Email info@starrupjobs.com.

Information we collect

Candidates. When you create a profile on our careers page, you choose what to give us: your name, city and state, email, phone number, the type of work you want, a short bio, your resume, a video introduction and an optional photo. You must agree to our consent box before submitting.

Employers. If you request access, we collect your name, company and email so we can send you an access code. If you post a job, we collect your name, company, email, phone and the job details you type in. Job posts are paid through our payment processor; we never see or store your card number. Applicants' names, phone numbers, emails and resumes are not shown to employers.

Everyone. Our forms and booking tools collect the details you type in. We do not ask for passwords, payment card numbers or government ID numbers through our forms.

On your device. The StarrUp Jobs app saves your swipe choices and, if you choose, your employer access code, on your own device so the app can remember them. We don't use these for advertising.

How we use it

• To review candidates and match them with employers and openings.
• To show an approved candidate profile (name, location, headline, bio, work interests, video and photo) to employers who hold a valid access code. Your email, phone number and resume are kept private from employers unless you or we agree to share them for a specific introduction.
• To schedule and run interviews, and to reply to your messages.
• To run and improve our Services, and to keep them secure.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We use trusted providers to run the Services: Netlify (website hosting), Cloudinary (storage for uploaded resumes, videos and photos), Formspree (delivers form submissions to us by email), Zoom (video interviews) and our email provider. They process information only to provide those services to us. We may also share information if required by law.

Your choices

• You can ask us to remove your profile, or to correct or delete your information, at any time by emailing info@starrupjobs.com.
• You can clear the app's saved swipes from inside the app, or by clearing your browser or app data.

Security and retention

Uploaded files are stored privately and shown only through protected links. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above, or until you ask us to delete it.

Children

Our Services are for people 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy and will change the date at the top when we do.
